HydroEarth Solutions
Free ET
HydroEarth's Water Use Management Program utilizes Free ET. ET stands for evapo-transpiration.
What it means is that HydroEarth's central system can calculate the water needed for each plant if
the weather is known. Put simple, ET is the weather. At HydroEarth, we feel the weather should be free,
not fee-based. So, with HydroEarth, there are no ongoing fees for ET or weather data.
Rain Management
With HydroEarth's central irrigation system, you have a few ways to stop irrigation when it rains.
We feel you can do better: we take advantage of the rain. That means that you can interrupt irrigation
for the correct length of time every time it rains. It could be 1 day or 2 months, as happened with most customers this winter.
In the case of surprise rainfall, RainGuard electronic rain sensors will turn off the system.
HydroCalc Scheduling Engine
HydroCalc scheduling engine software automatically calculates the schedule for each irrigation area.
HydroCalc uses the Irrigation Association Best Management Practices, which suggests 19 factors used
in the calculation of an annual irrigation schedule. Why not use a transparent, credible...defensible scheduling method?
Recent Milestones
HydroEarth has partnered with Niagara Conservation to develop and manufacture a residential ET irrigation controller. Tom Carr has been flying back and forth to Shenzhen, China to oversee production.
